Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport; transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
- Accommodation: Overnight at Forest Hill Hotel.
- Drive Time: Approximately 1.5 hours from the airport to the hotel.
Day 2: Arusha to Mto Wa Mbu to Engaresero to Summit
- Morning: After breakfast, check out and depart for Mto Wa Mbu. Travel through the Great Rift Valley, passing extinct volcanoes and enjoying views of Oldoinyo Lengai.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Camp on the banks of the Engaresero River; trek to hidden waterfalls in the rift valley.
- Evening: Rest at Kamakia Camp before starting the midnight climb of Oldoinyo Lengai.
- Climb: Depart around midnight for a 4-hour ascent to the summit. Witness the glowing lava at the peak.
- Accommodation: Overnight at Kamakia Camp (DBL).
Day 3: Engaresero to Summit
- Morning: Enjoy sunrise and views of the Rift Valley before descending. Return to camp for breakfast and relaxation.
- Afternoon: Optional short walking activities or relaxation at the camp.
Day 4: Engaresero to Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
- Morning: Breakfast followed by a guided walk around Lake Natron, a major flamingo breeding site.
- Cultural Experience: Visit a Maasai boma to interact with the community and learn about their culture.
- Afternoon: Return to the campsite for lunch and prepare to drive back to Arusha.
- Evening: Depending on your itinerary, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or stay overnight at a designated hotel or lodge.

- All park fees and rescue fees related to the climb, including taxes.
- Return transfers from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha/Moshi and back.
- Hotel accommodation on the first and last nights in Arusha or Moshi on a half-board basis (dinner and breakfast) and boarding accommodation on the mountain.
- Nutritious meals during the climb, including large portions of fresh food and hot drinks.

- Qualified mountain guides, assistant guides, porters, and a cook, in accordance with Kilimanjaro National Park regulations.
