Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After immigration and customs, meet your driver for a transfer to Arusha Town. Check in at Chanya Lodge and receive a briefing from your guide about your mountain climbing expedition.

After breakfast, depart to Nale Muru Gate via coffee plantations. Await your permits before beginning the trek to Simba Camp, located near the first cave at the edge of the moorland zone. Enjoy spectacular views of the plains of Kenya. Â

Depart for Second Cave Camp, catching views of Kibo and glimpses of the ice fields on the Eastern crater rim. The vegetation will become sparser as you approach.

Depart for Kikelewa Camp across the moorland towards Mawenzi, enjoying shorter hiking time while admiring the Easter ice fields.

Depart for Mawenzi Tarn Hut, leaving behind the vegetation. Take the afternoon to rest or explore the area for acclimatization. Â
